“宽永通宝"是日本历史上铸量大、铸期长、版别多的一种钱币,同时也是流入我国数目多的外国钱币之一。

"Kuan Yong Tongbao" is a kind of coin with large amount, long casting period and many editions in Japanese history. It is also one of the foreign coins that have flowed into China in a large number.

它始铸于日本第108代后水尾天皇宽永三年(1626年),也是早先仿铸中国方孔圆钱的国家。宽永通宝种类众多,多达上千种。以铸造年月分新老两中宽永,老宽永,也就是二水宽永较量值钱,在日本售价可以高达几百万日元。

据史料纪录,宽永二年(1625年)乙丑,水户田町之巨贾佐藤新助,向日本政府请铸宽永新钱。后累朝鼓铸,长达二百余年之久,品类颇繁,不下千余种,而且数目极大。
