1794年卡洛斯四世西班牙老双柱，此枚钱币正面镌有半身西班牙国王像，正面右侧均为拉丁文DEIGRATLA(意为蒙天主之恩)，下部是铸造年度阿拉伯数字。背面上边有一皇冠，冠下有状似盾形图案，内分六小格，中间格为椭圆形，有三个花状图形，左下角及右上角之格内各有小狮子作起立状，左上角和右下角之格内为城堡状；盾形图案两旁有两根柱状图案，上有带文字飘带，周围有西班牙文字。背面环周是拉丁文：HISPAN.ET.IND.REX.M.8R.F.M意为西班牙和西印度国王、M表示墨西哥造、8R示面值为8瑞第纳尔，后两位字母F.M为铸币师、检验师的姓名首写字母。
