“庆应通宝”贰百为日本江户幕府铸造。“应庆”即是那一时期天皇年号，仅在公元1865-1867年使用了三年时间。1867年江户幕府德川庆喜还政于天皇，次年明治时开始。这种钱币因其铸期不长，铸量不丰，流于中国的“庆应通宝”就更为稀少，故而亦算是古钱币中的珍品。

"yingqing" was the emperor's year of that period, which lasted only three years from 1865 to 1867. in 1867, tokugawa, the edo shogunate, returned to power at the emperor. the meiji era began the following year. this kind of coin is also a treasure of ancient coins because of its short casting period and insufficient casting capacity, and the "qingying tongbao" flowing in china is even rarer.
